When I think back on my childhood, I vividly remember always wanting to be in a helping profession of some kind. In 5th grade, I recall being so excited about the science fair, because I wanted to learn more and present on depression. I titled it “The Depths of Depression”, and worked diligently on that project. The judges asked me “Did your parents help you with this?” My response: “They helped me use a glue gun”.

That project opened up my eyes not only to the world of mental health, but my love of educating others, and facilitating conversations around it. My little mind did its best to understand the depths of depression, which took me on a journey to learn more about mental illness as a whole.

I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Nicholls State University in 2008. I then attended LSU where I graduated with my MSW in 2013. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. I’ve worked in a rural hospital, as well as in hospice/palliative care. My dream of opening a private practice came true in 2024, and I have been pouring into my career ever since.

As a therapist, I am compassionate, insightful, and deeply committed to my client’s well-being. I bring a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy, meeting people where they are with empathy and understanding. I blend evidence-based techniques with a warm, supportive presence, helping clients navigate challenges while empowering them to build resilience and self-awareness.

I create a safe, nonjudgmental space that allows clients to open up and work through difficult emotions. I am skilled at addressing a range of issues, whether its anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, or life transitions. I also specialize and am passionate about working with those experiencing eating disorders/disordered eating/body image issues. My social work background gives me a unique perspective, integrating mental health support with practical solutions and advocacy when needed.
